A water pressure operated aertation device.
An aeration device that relies on the water pressure generated by your pump to aerate your pond water. Usually installed on pressurised returns on gravity fed filter systems, or on pressurised inlets of pump fed filter systems. To give your pond extra oxygen without the need of an air pump. The ammount of aeration generated varies greatly depending on the pressure generated from the pump used. The larger the pump, the greater the effect. Please note veturi's are restrictive and will reduce the turnover rate of your pump. On lower wattage circulation pumps this effect can be significant. They are also solvent weldable, but we strongly advise they are not glued in place. They will require cleaning from time to time.
