Multi cyclone is a filteration device that is capable of saving water and reducing filter maintanance. The multi cyclone works on the basis of centrifugal water filteration. There are no moving parts to wear and tear, and no filter media to clean or replace. This filter works in conjunction with conventional filteration systems to give your pond crystal clear water. Incoming water enters 16 hydro cyclones tangentially, generating a strong centrifugal effect. The sediment is spun out to the hydro cyclones wall, and then spirals down to the sediment bowl. The filtered water migrates towards the center of the hydro cyclone where flow reverses and spirals upward through the outlet. Accumulation of sediment can visibly be monitored through the multi cyclones clear sediment bowl. The multi cyclone is easily cleaned by opening the valve. Only 15 litres of water is discharged to cleanse the multi cyclone.
